What is your vision for Knoxville 10 years from now?

Knoxville will be a community that has held onto its scruffy roots while evolving with the times. With strong schools, accessible daycare, affordable housing, and a healthy economy where people give back, it's a welcoming, diverse, and thriving place to call home.

What is Knoxville's Best Kept Secret?

Our libraries!

What would you do to strengthen Knoxville?

Foster stronger communication between local businesses, nonprofits, governments, and citizens to enhance collaboration and build lasting partnerships.

What is your favorite Knoxville memory?

Welcoming my daughter into the world and growing our family here.

What is your favorite book or what book is currently on your nightstand?

My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I'm currently listening to The Lazy Genius Way by Kendra Adachi.

What is the best advice you have received from a mentor, and who was that mentor?

It's okay to make choices for the season of life you're in. They don't have to last forever and you can make new decisions along the way. From Susan Watson, one of my Blue Ridge Institute colleagues.

What advice would you give to your 16 year old self?

You're doing great! Go have some fun. Seriously. Go!
