Encore

This program connects experienced senior leaders moving away from full-time careers with opportunities to make a positive community impact. Encore can help introduce participants to their next endeavor or purpose, as it was created to leverage the talent, skills and experience of senior leaders in our region.

 

  • Program established in 2023.
  • Duration is five weeks.
  • Encore strives to help participants through post-professional transition, connect them with other leaders and help find meaningful ways to serve and improve the community.

TIME COMMITMENT

Encore is a five-week program, consisting of one session per week, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.

TUITION COST

Tuition for Encore is $500. Partial scholarships are available. Tuition includes materials, transportation, food and beverages for all sessions.

REGISTRATION INFO

Registration is available year-round for upcoming classes offered in the spring and fall. Class size is limited and filled in order of the registration date and receipt of the tuition payment.

Encore launched in 2023 to connect senior leaders moving away from full-time careers with opportunities to make a meaningful difference. The program can help introduce participants to their next endeavor or purpose.

The program is tailored for senior leaders who are moving away from full-time careers, who have already retired or are looking to use their experience and skills to find their next purpose or endeavor in serving the community through civic or volunteer involvement.

Encore is a five-week program that includes visits to area non-profit organizations that are working hard to make Knoxville and our region an even better place to live, work and play.

Participants in Encore will strengthen their connection to area leaders and organizations in order to find their post-professional purpose. Graduates may join the Alumni Association to continue with events and programming that includes an ever-expanding network.
