What is your vision for Knoxville 10 years from now?

As a business owner and someone deeply tied to our community, I want Knoxville to further expand as a dynamic business and culture center. We offer diverse and wonderful experiences considering our size and I want that momentum to continue.

What is Knoxville’s Best Kept Secret?

Knoxville offers resources and amenities comparable to much larger cities. From our supportive network of nonprofits to a welcoming business climate and from the superb natural spaces to abundant entertainment, Knoxville has a lot to offer.

What would you do to strengthen Knoxville?

I believe that I can best strengthen our city by continuing to serve the community through support of organizations that can utilize my skills and community connections to make strides in important areas.

What is your favorite Knoxville memory?

The day I, along with three longtime colleagues, became business owners is among my favorite Knoxville memories. In June 2022, I reached a goal that I had been working toward for years by becoming an owner of MoxCar Marketing + Communications.

What is your favorite book or what book is currently on your nightstand?

Candidly, due to my work, I’m constantly reading and researching clients, products, services and concepts. So, I don’t presently have much time to read for enrichment or pleasure.

What is the best advice you have received from a mentor, and who was that mentor?

Own your mistakes. When we evaluate things that go wrong rather than focusing on blame, we can learn and grow and ultimately become a better life partner, work partner, family member and friend.

What advice would you give to your 16 year old self?

Give yourself a lot more grace.
